导师介绍

刘钿渤是新加坡国立大学助理教授，同时在医学院和电气与计算机工程系 （ECE）任教。他目前是麻省理工学院与哈佛大学布罗德研究所（Broad institute of MIT and Harvard） 的小组负责人。

加入布罗德研究所之前，刘钿渤曾在加拿大魁北克 AI 研究所（Mila-Quebec AI Institute）师从图灵奖得主 Yoshua Bengio 教授，担任博士后研究员，并领导 humanitarian AI team。此前他在哈佛大学医学院任研究员（research fellow）并完成了研医学信息学究生院学位，在苏格兰邓迪大学（University of Dundee）获得博士学位，师从粒子物理学家 Timothea Newman 教授。在攻读博士期间，他获得了麻省理工学院（MIT）的 Vest 校长奖学金，并在 MIT 计算机科学与人工智能实验室（MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab）作为特别研究生就读，师从计算生物先驱 Manolis Kellis 教授。刘钿渤在研究生期间与 Kellis 教授及同事 Zhizhuo Zhang 共同创办了两家初创公司 "GeneTank" 和 "SecureAILabs"，推动生物医学领域的 AI 应用。

他曾在 Neurips, ICLR, ICML , AAAI, Nature, Cancer discovery, Scientific reports, Journal of biomedical informatics 等期刊上发表数篇论文，获得 3800 + 谷歌学术引用。在业余时间，他喜欢徒步和进行脱口秀表演。
