伴随着8月CA系统的开放，2024Fall申请也正式进入倒计时阶段！现在很多同学也正在抓紧时间着手准备文书。 大家应该都知道，除了系统需要提交的主文书之外，每个学校还会单独设计附加文书。今年CA的主文书依旧和去年一样，但有些学校的附加文书产生了变化，具体有哪些？今天一起来先了解一下。
01、耶鲁大学
耶鲁大学的补充文书题目分为简答题和必答文书两部分。Short Answer Questions是耶鲁大学文书的重要组成部分，因为简短，所以各位同学必须直奔主题，言简意赅，突出最生动的故事。 必答文书题目会根据申请人选择的申请平台而略有不同。 相比2022-2023的附加文书，今年耶鲁大学的附加文书题目发生了一些改变：
一、简答题共四题，今年第二题和第三题更换了新的题目。
2022-23学年：
2.You are teaching a new Yale course. What's it called?
如果你要在耶鲁教授一门新设立的课程，它会是什么样的？
3.Yale’s residential colleges regularly host conversations with guests representing a wide range of experiences and accomplishments. What person, past or present, would you invite to speak and what would you ask them to discuss?*
耶鲁大学住宿学院会定期邀请拥有丰富经历和个人成就的嘉宾进行讲座，如果是你来邀请，你会邀请谁？这个人可以是已经逝去的，也可以是仍然健在的，你会问对方什么问题？

02、达特茅斯学院
达特茅斯学院要求申请人对学校给出的三篇附加文书题目写出简短的回答，相比2022-2023学年，今年达特茅斯的附加文书也有不小的变化：
一、第二道必答题比去年增加了一道题目，今年可以二选一。

A. There is a Quaker saying: Let your life speak. Describe the environment in which you were raised and the impact it has had on the person you are today.
B. "Be yourself," Oscar Wilde advised. "Everyone else is taken." Introduce yourself.

C. Dr. Seuss, aka Theodor Geisel of Dartmouth's Class of 1925, wrote, "Think and wonder. Wonder and think." As you wonder and think, what's on your mind?
D. Celebrate your nerdy side.（New）
E. "It's not easy being green…" was the frequent refrain of Kermit the Frog. How has difference been a part of your life, and how have you embraced it as part of your identity and outlook?（New）
F. As noted in the College's mission statement, "Dartmouth educates the most promising students and prepares them for a lifetime of learning and of responsible leadership…" Promise and potential are important aspects of the assessment of any college application, but they can be elusive qualities to capture. Highlight your potential and promise for us; what would you like us to know about you?（New）
3、所有申请人都需要撰写。请选择以下文书题目之一并用200-250字回答：

2022-23学年：
Rice is lauded for creating a collaborative atmosphere that enhances the quality of life for all members of our campus community. The Residential College System and undergraduate life are heavily influenced by the unique life experiences and cultural tradition each student brings. What life perspectives would you contribute to the Rice community?*

2. Rice is strengthened by its diverse community of learning and discovery that produces leaders and change agents across the spectrum of human endeavor. What perspectives shaped by your background, experiences, upbringing, and/or racial identity inspire you to join our community of change agents at Rice?

04、纽约大学
NYU在上个申请季一改过去沿用了多年的文书题目“Why NYU”（400字上限），采用了全新的文书题目（Diversity Essay）。 但2023-24申请季，NYU再次推出新文书题目，optional 6选1，字数250字。如果学生不想写这篇文书，则可以直接选择第7个选项，跳过这个任务。当然，我们不建议不写。
大家甚至可以看到，纽大还Quote 了郎朗（第3个选项）和霉霉（第5个选项），多少有点芝大文书内味儿了。
05、波士顿大学
BU去年只有一个prompt，但今年变成了二选一。字数也从去年的不超过250字增加到今年的300字。
06、北卡罗来纳大学教堂山分校
两道补充文书题目全部换新，字数要求也均有变动。2022-23学年：1. 从以下四个问题中选出两个回答，每个字数要在200-250字之间。2. 完成以下四道填空题，每道题回答不得超过25字。
2023-24学年：以下两个补充文书回答字数都要求250字之内：
1. 讨论一个你的个人品质，并分享一个故事、轶事或记忆，说明它是如何帮助你对社区产生积极影响的。这可以是你当前的社区，也可以是你参与过的其他社区。
2. 讨论一个你很想在大学里探索和学习的学术话题。你为什么对这个话题感兴趣?这个话题可以是一门特定的学习课程、研究兴趣、或者与你在大学的学术经历相关的任何其它领域。
07、普渡大学
相比2022-23学年，2023-24学年普渡大学的补充文书题目和字数要求都有所变化：
一、删除了一道题，如下：

Please briefly elaborate on one of your extracurricular activities or work experiences（250 words）
请简单阐述一项你的课外活动或工作经历
二、其余两题的字数要求，也从100字扩充到了250字以内。
