随着8月Common App正式开放，23-24申请季拉开帷幕，美国各大学校也纷纷更新了各自的补充文书要求。随着6月美国最高法院宣判废除大学招生的平权法案，也使得这个申请季注定与以往不同。不少大学的补充文书都有针对性更新，比如哈佛在补充文书要求中强调多元化学生群体的重要性、又或是哥大在补充文书要求中新增了“克服困境”相关的题目。
大学也纷纷调整了招生政策：
很多学校增加涉及申请者“文化背景”与“生活经历”的补充文书；
西北大学不再强制要求学生提交Common App或Coalition上的主文书；
明尼苏达大学双城分校、卫斯理大学、西方学院、弗吉尼亚理工学院等校撤销校友优先录取；
弗吉尼亚理工学院还同时取消了早行动录取（Early Decision）；
维克森林大学增设针对第一代大学生的早行动录取（Early Action）；
拉法叶学院宣布只看活动列表的前6项，以使那些更难在活动上投入时间、精力和金钱的低收入群体拥有更多的竞争机会。
本期，我们为大家汇总了23-24申请季大部分Top20大学的最新补充文书要求，本文对部分大学的文书要求进行了整理汇总，希望能够给奋战申请季的大家一些参考和帮助。
01耶鲁大学
耶鲁大学的补充文书题目分为简答题和必答文书两部分。Short Answer Questions是耶鲁大学文书的重要组成部分，因为简短，所以各位同学必须直奔主题，言简意赅，突出最生动的故事。
必答文书题目会根据申请人选择的申请平台而略有不同。相比2022-2023的附加文书，今年耶鲁大学的附加文书题目发生了一些改变：
一、简答题共四题，今年第二题和第三题更换了新的题目。
2022-23学年： 2.You are teaching a new Yale course. What's it called?
如果你要在耶鲁教授一门新设立的课程，它会是什么样的？
3.Yale’s residential colleges regularly host conversations with guests representing a wide range of experiences and accomplishments. What person, past or present, would you invite to speak and what would you ask them to discuss?
耶鲁大学住宿学院会定期邀请拥有丰富经历和个人成就的嘉宾进行讲座，如果是你来邀请，你会邀请谁？这个人可以是已经逝去的，也可以是仍然健在的，你会问对方什么问题？

二、必答文书第一道题目和第二道题目顺序发生了变动，主要变化是：新增了第三题。
02哈佛大学
今年最新哈佛大学的补充文书取消了以往的可选补充文书模式，23-24Fall哈佛要求申请者必答5篇短文书（Short Essays），每篇不超过200字。今年补充文书的变化引起了不少讨论，哈佛大学官方指出此举为针对最高法院可接受合法措施的配合与调整，弱化种族因素、强调学生自身的个人经历。
Short Essays: 1.Harvard has long recognized the importance of enrolling a diverse student body. How will the life experiences that shape who you are today enable you to contribute to Harvard? (200 words)

03斯坦福大学
斯坦福大学新一届申请者都必须完成3篇短文书（Short Essays）与几个简答题（Short Questions），其中文书每篇100-250字、简答题最多50字。与往年不同的是，今年短文书第三题为新题目，简答题的第五题也有了变化。Short Essays： 1.The Stanford community is deeply curious and driven to learn in and out of the classroom. Reflect on an idea or experience that makes you genuinely excited about learning. (100 to 250 words)

2.Virtually all of Stanford's undergraduates live on campus. Write a note to your future roommate that reveals something about you or that will help your roommate – and us – know you better.

04普林斯顿大学
和往年相比，普林斯顿大学最新附加文书最明显的变化是新增了一道最多500字的文书题目，题目是“申请者的生活经历是如何塑造申请者的”，这一题目的字数上限也高于往年的350字。
普林斯顿大学补充文书由三部分必答题组成，第一部分为申请专业方向类问题，对于不同学位的申请者，普林斯顿大学为其设置了不同的补充文书问题以供回答（250词以内）；第二部分则是综述类问题；第三部分为不超过50词的简答题。另外，除了完成补充文书外，普林斯顿大学还要求申请者提交一份打分论文作为申请材料。申请者需要提交一份一到两页的学术课程说明性论文，论文应当包含导师给的成绩和任何批注意见。
