审题注意点
(1) 这道题跟2013年的一道老题很相似:People will feel happier if they have fewer possessions?
(2) 不过今天的这个题目更简单了更具体了。
“过多的Possessions” 指的是生活用品：比如购买大量的衣服，鞋子，电子产品等..
⭕️ 需要注意的是，“过多”，所以是大量的，超出了自己需要的。
“对人们生活的影响”: 指的就是日常生活。Claire的内容也帮我们提供了一个好写的具体思路：要花很多精力去整理。所以，类似于现在比较常讨论的一个话题：低物欲的生活 or 高物欲
(3) 可行的分论点：
同意有不好的影响:
1. 浪费大量的钱，甚至可能无法应付生活中的意外。购买太多的物品，无论是房子，车子，还是衣服，电子产品，都会花费大量的钱。当以后真正需要钱的时候，比如生病，供孩子读书，就没有钱了。到时候，生活就会很艰难。
2. 占据大量的空间，导致生活不方便。平时要花大量的时间分类整理，否则真正需要的时候就找不到了。
3. 导致人们不会克制自己的欲望，不会快乐。
不同意。没有不好的影响./有好的影响。
1. 给人们带来满足感。感觉自己的需要都得到了满足。
2. 可以有更多的选择。比如衣服，人们需要根据不同的场合，时间，心情等选择合适的衣服。

Echoing Claire’s perspective, I also believe that owning more possessions than necessary is unwise. In addition to the reasons she mentioned, I argue that this behavior can undermine one’s ability to handle unexpected emergencies in the future.
Nowadays, there is a prevalent trend among people, particularly the young, to splurge their hard-earned savings on hobbies such as sports, video games, and clothing. It is common to find young individuals whose apartments are filled with extensive collections of their favorite video games. However, when life inevitably throws challenges their way—such as job loss or illness—they may find themselves financially unprepared due to their reckless spending habits.
A vivid example is my brother’s unfortunate experience. Despite landing a well-paying job, he consistently spent most of his income on luxurious global vacations, expensive furniture, and souvenirs. When his salary was drastically cut during an economic downturn, he suddenly realized he couldn’t afford his rent. He had to sell off his collections to make ends meet. His story vividly illustrates that accumulating too much can severely impact one’s financial resilience in times of adversity.
Therefore, it is wiser for individuals to restrain their desire for excess and focus on maintaining financial stability.（200字）
