博通大师赛

博通大师赛(Broadcom Master)是由美国科学与公众社团和Broadcom基金会联合创办、面向6-8年级美国学生的科学赛事。它还是再生元国际与工程大赛 ISEF的初中生版

放榜啦!2022博通大师赛Top300揭晓!恭喜获奖的各位美初学生!

和 ISEF一样,博通也无法直接参加,学生需要从地区赛中脱颖而出,才能拿到前往赛场的门票。

去年共有来自15个州、28所学校的1841名学生参赛,他们通过地区赛的层层挑战,闯进博通决赛的舞台。最高荣誉Rising Star Award的获得者将有机会参观 ISEF。

赛事时间线

  • 2月1日-6月15日 申请开放
  • 9月7日 Top 300 MASTERS Announced
  • 9月21日 入围名单公布
  • 10月27日-11月2日 决赛周
  • 10月29日 项目展示

科学、技术、工程、数学。

参赛对象

6-8年级的美国初中生,可单人或≤3人组队参加。

奖项设置

  • Finalist入围奖:将获得奖金,学生和监护人前往决赛的费用由组委全额承担;
  • Samueli 基金会奖、Lemelson 发明奖、Marconi/Samueli 创新奖、罗伯特伍德约翰逊基金会健康促进奖、DoD STEM 人才奖;
  • 各个类别的第一、第二名将获得重量级荣誉和高额奖金;
  • Rising Star Award:最高荣誉,获奖者将参加ISEF并代表美国参加 Broadcom MASTERS 国际项目之旅

博通大师赛鼓励学生们完成在传统实验室环境之外的研究,从生活中找到兴趣和灵感和 ISEF类似,比起研究的复杂性,博通更注重创新性、社会价值、以及对学生科研兴趣的启蒙。

参加过博通大师赛的学生,往往能更早找到自己的兴趣所在、锁定未来的发展方向,这也意味着更早开始的学术规划、以及更充足的备赛时间。

能入围博通的决赛,无疑是一项远超同龄人的成就,也是对自己科研潜力和学术能力的有力证明之一。通过博通,学生对同类科研赛事的标准和流程更加熟悉,他们将有更大的机会在ISEF赛场上摘下成就!
