暑期训练营如何实现辩论技巧的快速提升？

为了提升NHSDLC暑期训练营的品质，带给同学们更多收获和更好的体验，我们根据往届训练营导师及营员反馈，在原有的训练营安排上进行了优化。今天我们邀请到了NHSDLC现任联赛总监 暑期训练营主讲导师Julian 从更加学术、专业的角度 带大家深入了解今年的暑期训练营！

参加暑期训练营的最大好处是，它能够把几个月的课程浓缩在一周的夏令营中。学生们在训练营中获得的课时数保守估计相当于2-3个月的课时，甚至更多。因此，在短时间内集中这么多时间来学习辩论，对提高辩论技巧来说是一个非常好的机会。

训练营将全程由资深教练进行授课，不仅会围绕暑期辩题展开，更会教你关于辩论本身的知识，最后通过完整的辩论实战将你在课程中学习到的内容付诸实践，这是迅速提高辩论技巧的最佳途径。

The biggest benefit of doing debate camp is probably that it's like having months of class all packed into 1 week of camp. Aconservative estimate of the number of hours that you get at debate camp is the equivalent to2 to 3 months’ worthof class, if not more than that. So having so much time to work on debate is a really good opportunity for you to improve your debate skills. You'll receive lectures from coaches and TAs that teach you about the topic, but that also teach you about debate itself, and then being able to put those ideas that you just learned in the lectures into practice in the form of full debates is the best way for you to quickly improve your skills as a debater.

参加暑期训练营的另一个好处是，同学们可以为即将到来的年度冠军赛和线上全国邀请赛做好充分准备。在暑期训练营，同学们将有机会集中精力围绕比赛辩题进行研究，准备自己的比赛稿件，并通过模拟练习不断打磨优化自己的稿件。

Another benefit of attending the summer debate camp is that is great preparation for the 2024 summer National Championship Tournament hosted by NHSDLC. We'll be preparing students for the topic of brazil's environment or compared to its economy. This willgive students an opportunity to start writing their cases,rebuttal blocks, creating front lines for the summary speech, and even beginning to write short explanations of arguments for the final focus. So that's a great way to help people prepare for the summer championship.

最后，参加暑期训练营将是培养英语技能的好方法。在演讲和辩论活动中，我们需要阅读信息并进行研究；我们需要学会聆听对手的演讲；我们需要撰写自己的演讲稿并反驳对手。因此，同学们可以在阅读、写作、听力和口语四个方面得到全面提升。

我们还可以从辩论的主题中学习很多新的知识，例如今年夏天，PF的同学们可能会学到很多与巴西环境和经济相关的词汇。

The last benefit of speech and debate is that it's a great way to build your english skills. In a speech and debate activity, you're reading information and doing research. You are listening to your opponent give a speech. You're writing your own speeches and rebuttals to your opponents, and then you're giving a speech. It's a great way for you to work on the four fundamentals of learning English - reading, writing, listening and speaking. You'll also be introduced to a lot of ideas from the topic itself.You'll learn a lot about different vocabulary words associated with brazil's environment and its economy.

从学术角度了解了营地的几大优势 我们再来具体看看日程上的变化 又为今年的营地带来了哪些亮点呢？

今年的线下训练营对于PF的同学们来说，有一个最大的变化——我们将在部分晚餐时间后增加LAB小组学习的时间。这将为暑期训练营增加近一天的教学时间，让同学们在营地的收获可以最大化。

另外，我们还将在其中的两个晚上为营员们安排趣味社交活动，可能是玩游戏、看电影，也可能是体育运动之夜。可以更快地拉近彼此之间的距离，结识志同道合的朋友。

日程安排

今年的线下训练营要做的第二个重大改变是，我们将为学生反馈创建一个实时文档。每个学生和家长都将收到这个文档的链接，我们也会将链接分享给营地的所有导师和助教。

因此，当同学们在营地期间进行辩论练习或参加比赛时，指导老师会将他们的裁决理由和对每位辩手的建议等放入实时文档中，这样学生和家长就能实时收到教练的反馈意见。

当然，在训练营结束时，我们依然会提供学生和家长传统的结营反馈表，和实时反馈文档互为补充。这样，同学们们可以更容易发现自己需要改进的不足或在训练营中积累的优势。

在同学们正式进入暑期训练营之前，我们会根据大家营前测试的结果以及在辩论方面的经验，对同学们进行分班教学。

但大家不用担心！在早间讲座Lecture环节，所有学术团队的大咖导师将轮流为每个班级带来讲座，让同学们能够接触更多优秀的明星教练。
