Mobile phones and the Internet could have many benefits for old people. However, this age group uses technology the least. What are the benefits for old people of using mobile phones and the Internet? How can we encourage them to use this new technology?
Doctors recommend older people to have regular exercise, but there are few of them taking enough physical exercise. What are the reasons? What can be done to encourage older people to exercise?
Older people after retirement choose spending money for themselves (on holiday) rather than saving money for their children. Is it a positive or negative development?

Mobile phones and the Internet could have many benefits for old people. However, this age group uses technology the least. What are the benefits for old people of using mobile phones and the Internet? How can we encourage them to use this new technology?
old people最需要什么?
With the help of such technology, the elderly are more likely to stay healthy.
Secondly, with a mobile phone in hand, the elderly will find it convenient to contact their friends and family.
Thirdly, recommendations of nearby tourist spots and restaurants enrich their lives.
Most elderly people will be happy to use mobile phones if someone patiently teaches them how.
It is helpful if apps are made senior-friendly, for example by allowing users to change/adjust the size of texts and by offering personal customer service.
Internet frauds should be further eliminated.

Doctors recommend older people to have regular exercise, but there are few of them taking enough physical exercise. What are the reasons? What can be done to encourage older people to exercise?
注意:older people≠old people,前者包括中年人(40-60岁)。
Some of them are reluctant to exercise because they are accustomed to their established lifestyles and refuse to change.
Others may find it more pleasing to spend free time on their hobbies such as video games and drinkingother than physical exercise.
Many middle-aged people have notrealized the health consequence of lacking physical activities.

Older people after retirement choose spending money for themselves (on holiday) rather than saving money for their children. Is it a positive or negative development?
只要把spending money for themselves和saving money for their children进行有效对比,就能找到支撑积极或者消极发展的理由。
现在工作不好找,他/她还没有稳定的工作,还要学习、考试,所以我们得准备钱支持他们;
a well financed social security system
e.g.1 My parents were very liberal when we were growing up.
e.g.2 Even in famously liberal New York her views were considered too radical.
The Astonishing Power of Social Pressure
You and your relationships are bound together, each shaping the other in an interactive and undetermined manner. When your relationships are mutually enhancing, happiness abounds. When the relationships are one-sided, with an uneven distribution of power, or when people psychologically maim and harm one another, that’s where you find despondency.
The paradox is that while your personal self is born in social interactions, the outcome of ethical relationships is the development of a self that is more than the sum of those interactions—what some refer to as the "real" you, your inner or private self. This part that you most identify as your core is strongest when your relationships have been at their best.
Humans cannot exist without families, whatever the form—from extended to nuclear, from polygamous to monogamous—but at the same time families often maim, harm, hurt and damage. Because of the close contact, the unspoken bonds, and the intuiting of others’ feelings, the family is often a place where individual differences are least tolerated
