评估
我们的评分系统是专有的。散文家可能会被要求与约翰·洛克研究所的一名教员讨论他们的参赛作品。我们使用各种手段来识别抄袭、合同欺诈、使用人工智能和其他形式的欺诈。我们在所有这些问题上的决定都是最终的。
评判标准包括对相关材料的知识和理解、证据的有效运用、论证的质量、原创性、结构、写作风格和说服力。最好的文章很可能是那些能够改变一个人想法的文章。忽视或未能解决最强烈的反对意见和反论点的文章不太可能成功。
建议考生尽可能准确直接地回答问题。
最佳文章的作者将获得表彰并入围奖项。入围论文的作者将于7月31日(周三)晚上11点59分收到通知。他们还将被邀请到伦敦参加9月份的学术会议和颁奖晚宴，届时将宣布获奖者。与比赛本身不同，学术会议和颁奖晚宴不是免费的。请注意，没有人被要求参加学术会议或颁奖典礼。你不用去伦敦也能得奖。
所有入围的候选人，包括获奖者，都可以下载承认其成就的电子证书。如果你获得一、二或三等奖，并且你前往伦敦参加颁奖典礼，你将获得一张签名证书。
每个类别的最佳论文都有一个奖项。每个学科类别的获胜者和初级类别的获胜者将获得价值2000美元的奖学金，用于参加约翰·洛克研究所的任何课程，论文将在研究所的网站上发表。颁奖仪式将在伦敦举行，获奖者和亚军将能够与约翰·洛克研究所的一些评委和其他教职员工见面。家人、朋友和老师也欢迎参加。
